Stuart founded Severn Vale as a family business built on a clear belief: people deserve to be treated with the same care, respect and compassion we would want for our own loved ones. As Founder, Stuart remains closely involved in setting the standards of care and companionship delivered across the service, ensuring every client feels valued, safe and respected in their own home. He also contributes to the wider social care sector through speaking engagements and board roles, and proudly supports organisations including the Care Innovation Summit, Championing Social Care and Dementia UK.

Outside of work, Stuart enjoys painting, printmaking, writing, and spending time with his dog, Monty.

Ellie brings more than 15 years of experience in care and a real passion for ensuring that people receive exceptional, highly personalised care in the comfort of their own homes.

Having started her career as a Care Professional, Ellie understands first-hand that outstanding home care is about much more than completing a list of tasks. It is about knowing each person, understanding what matters to them and providing consistently excellent care that enables them to live safely, independently and with confidence.

Ellie has progressed through a wide range of care and management roles and has extensive experience within Severn Vale, previously serving as Deputy Manager and Head of Care Operations before becoming our Registered Care Manager. This gives her an exceptional understanding of our clients, our Care Professionals and the high standards we expect throughout the service.

As Registered Care Manager, Ellie has overall responsibility for the quality and delivery of our care. She works closely with clients, families and our care teams to ensure that every package of support is carefully planned, regularly reviewed and delivered to the standard we would expect for our own families.

Families value Ellie's calm, approachable manner, practical understanding of care and determination to get things right. She is equally committed to supporting our Care Professionals, because we believe that exceptional care comes from exceptional people who feel valued, supported and proud of the care they provide.

Outside of work, Ellie enjoys spending time with her family, particularly when there is a little sunshine involved.

Melony brings more than 30 years of experience in care and an exceptional depth of knowledge to her role as Deputy Care Manager at Severn Vale.

Throughout her career, she has worked across a wide range of care and management roles and has previously served as Registered Care Manager for two local home care businesses. This extensive experience gives Melony a deep understanding of what exceptional care looks like in practice, from the quality of the care received in someone's home to the systems, training and oversight needed to ensure consistently high standards.

As Deputy Care Manager, she brings that expertise together with her considerable operational and management experience to support the day-to-day leadership of our service.

Working closely with Ellie, Melony helps ensure that every client receives safe, thoughtful and highly personalised care. Her particular focus on quality, dignity and attention to detail reflects our belief that outstanding home care should never feel routine, it should be carefully tailored around each individual and delivered to an exceptional standard every day.

Families can be reassured by Melony's wealth of experience, practical knowledge and unwavering commitment to getting care right.

Outside of work, Melony enjoys spending time with her family and attending live music and concerts.

For Hannah, care begins with kindness.

Growing up on her father’s farm, she was surrounded by a strong sense of family and learned from an early age the importance of kindness and compassion , both towards people and animals. Those values have remained central to her throughout her life and strongly reflect the ethos of Severn Vale.

Hannah has worked in marketing for many years, particularly with organisations whose services make a genuine difference to people’s lives. She understands that choosing care for yourself or someone you love is an important and very personal decision, and believes that the way we communicate should always reflect the same warmth, honesty and integrity that we expect from the care itself.

As Head of Business Development & Marketing, Hannah helps us communicate what makes Severn Vale different so that more local families can find and access the exceptional, personalised care we provide.

She also works closely with our management team to develop simpler and more efficient ways of working, allowing our people to spend more of their time doing what matters most, supporting our clients. Hannah works particularly closely with Jenny, our Community Care Navigator, helping families understand their options and connecting people with the right care and support.

Outside of work, family remains incredibly important to Hannah, and she loves spending time with Teddy, her sable Border Collie.

Jenny plays a key role at Severn Vale as a friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for individuals and families seeking advice about care. She offers impartial guidance and reassurance, helping people understand their options with clarity, compassion and confidence.

Alongside this, Jenny leads Severn Vale’s live-in care service, ensuring families feel confident their loved one is truly known, respected and safe at home. With extensive experience in hands-on care and management, she specialises in personalised, consistent care built on thoughtful matching and clear communication.

Jenny also leads community events and charity work, strengthening local connections. She believes strong relationships are at the heart of exceptional care.

Jenny works closely with individuals and families to understand what support would genuinely make a difference — whether that is Severn Vale care, live-in care or helping you navigate other support available within the community.

Kate brings a valuable combination of management experience, quality expertise and hands-on care to Severn Vale.

Having previously worked as our Deputy Manager, Kate returned to Severn Vale as a Care Professional because of her passion for working directly with clients and making a genuine difference to their lives.

Alongside delivering care, Kate works as our Operations & Quality Co-ordinator, supporting our Area Team Leaders and wider management team to ensure the high standards we expect are reflected consistently in every aspect of our service.

Her experience both in management and in clients’ homes gives Kate an important perspective. She understands what exceptional care looks and feels like in practice and helps us ensure that our systems, processes and quality standards always support what matters most — giving our Care Professionals the time and support they need to provide outstanding, highly personalised care.

Warm, experienced and committed to getting the details right, Kate helps connect our day-to-day operations with the exceptional standard of care we want every client and family to experience.

Outside of work, Kate is a published author and enjoys spending time with her family in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.

Karen joined Severn Vale in 2023 and brings a warm, reliable approach to her role as Area Team Leader. Having progressed from Care Professional into leadership, she offers practical understanding and empathy, helping families feel reassured that care is delivered with consistency and compassion.

She supports clients across the Malvern area while also updating care plans, carrying out reviews and supporting care professionals, helping ensure care is delivered safely, with dignity and in a way that supports independence at home.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys supporting her children at their sporting events and looks forward to spending time together on family holidays.

Summer brings hands-on care experience and a warm, approachable leadership style to her role as Team Leader. Families value her calm manner, clear communication and commitment to person-centred care.

In her day-to-day role, Summer supports care teams to deliver safe, consistent and compassionate care, responding promptly to concerns and ensuring individual needs are met with dignity and respect.

Outside of work, Summer enjoys walking her dog, going to the gym and taking time to relax at the spa.

Amber has been part of the Severn Vale team for four years and has worked as a Team Leader for the past two. She chose a career in care driven by her natural desire to help others and the close bond she shared with her grandparents, which continues to shape her compassionate approach.

Families value Amber’s kind, considerate nature and the genuine care she brings to her role. As Team Leader, she supports clients through regular care visits, keeps care plans up to date, carries out reviews, supports care professionals and provides on-call cover when needed, helping ensure care is delivered safely, consistently and with dignity.

Outside of work, Amber enjoys riding and caring for her horse, Cool Choice, known as Bug — and particularly enjoys team chasing.

Jo is one of Severn Vale’s Senior Care Professionals and an ambassador for the exceptional standards of care we expect in every client’s home.

Working directly with clients, Jo combines the delivery of high-quality, personalised care with an important role supporting and developing our Care Professionals in the field. She understands that exceptional home care is about much more than completing tasks — it is about knowing the person, noticing the small things and delivering care with warmth, dignity and genuine attention to detail.

As a Senior Care Professional, Jo also works alongside new Care Professionals, helping them build their confidence, develop their skills and understand what excellent care looks like in practice. By sharing her experience and modelling our standards in clients’ homes, she helps ensure the quality and consistency of care that families expect from Severn Vale.

Calm, approachable and highly experienced, Jo is passionate about making sure every client feels listened to, respected and genuinely cared for, while helping our Care Professionals deliver the very best care every day.

Sarah is one of Severn Vale’s Senior Care Professionals, bringing more than 10 years’ experience in care and a genuine passion for making a positive difference to the people we support.

Working directly with clients in their own homes, Sarah is an ambassador for the exceptional standards of care we expect at Severn Vale. Warm, calm and approachable, she understands that outstanding care begins with listening — taking the time to understand each person, their routines, preferences and the things that matter most to them.

Alongside delivering care, Sarah plays an important role in supporting our Care Professionals in the community. She works alongside new members of the team, helping them develop their confidence and skills while demonstrating the warmth, professionalism and attention to detail that we expect in every client’s home.

With more than 25 years’ experience in customer-focused roles, Sarah has a natural ability to put people at ease and make them feel listened to, valued and supported. She combines this with her extensive care experience to help ensure that every client receives thoughtful, highly personalised care delivered to an exceptional standard.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys early morning walks on the Malvern Hills.
