Severn Vale Home Care at the Macmillan Coffee Morning
At Severn Vale Home Care, we believe in the importance of regular social events for our clients, and coffee mornings have become a valued tradition. These gatherings provide a wonderful opportunity for our clients to get out, meet others, and enjoy the local community. More than just a chance to enjoy tea and cake, our coffee mornings play an important role in helping to combat loneliness, fostering connections, and encouraging a sense of belonging.
On Friday, 27th September, we had the pleasure of attending a special Macmillan Coffee Morning at the Plough and Harrow, located on the Guarlford Straight. Not only was it a chance to connect with familiar faces and enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the pub, but it was also an opportunity to support a very worthy cause. Macmillan Cancer Support does incredible work for those affected by cancer, and we were proud to contribute to such an important charity.
The Plough and Harrow is more than just a venue—it’s a vital part of our local community with a rich history. Saved from demolition by local residents in 2016, the pub has been lovingly restored and is now a thriving hub for events like these, bringing people together in a space that feels like home.
Our coffee mornings are not just about enjoying a cuppa; they’re about community, connection, and ensuring our clients have the opportunity to stay engaged with the world around them. We’re always looking forward to the next one!
