Arranging In Home Respite Care - We Can Help
At Severn Vale Home Care we understand that everyone values their privacy and dignity. We all want to be able to feel clean and look at our best. The challenge, as we age, can be that we start to struggle with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing and grooming. It is understandable and a natural part of ageing that as we get older, we can find it challenging to look after our personal needs on our own.
When you need a break to recharge, it's common to feel guilty about leaving the person you care for. The challenge is feeling responsible for your family and knowing they trust your support. Trusting someone to step into your shoes can feel daunting.
We believe you shouldn't keep struggling on if you are over tired and exhausted. Your mental and physical health is important as well. You need to feel your best to look after and care for your family's needs. We understand the weight of being responsible for someone else's well-being and how important it is.
That is why we want to listen and understand your unique situation.
- Decide to call us and learn more information about how we can help you. We have a small team of people who are friendly and available to talk and listen to you over the phone.
- They will come and visit you in your home and do a care assessment. Within 24 hours of the visit they will provide you with a care plan for you to consider.
- If you decide to continue with your care plan, a Care Professional will come at the agreed-upon times and days.
If you experience any concerns or problems with your care plan, our office team is available to listen and help. We are as sympathetic and understanding as possible to our clients views and needs.
