Quick Thinking Saves a Life
Carer Lucy quickly noticed the signs of a stroke in one of her regular clients. Without hesitation, she called an ambulance and informed them of the suspected stroke. Thanks to Lucy’s quick reaction and detailed information, the ambulance was able to prioritise the call, arriving promptly to begin treatment. This timely action made all the difference in the client’s recovery. Lucy’s attentiveness and swift action undoubtedly saved valuable time in a life-threatening situation.
A Heartfelt Visit in Tough Times
When one of our regular clients had to enter respite care for a week, she felt anxious about the change. Carer Camilla went the extra mile, visiting her in her own time and bringing along her favourite chocolates to lift her spirits. Camilla spent time with her at the respite facility, offering comfort and reassurance, easing her anxiety, and making the transition much smoother.
Celebrating a Special Anniversary
We care for a lovely married couple who recently celebrated their wedding anniversary. Our carers, especially Lumi and Vicky, went out of their way to make the day special. They brought cards and flowers to the couple and spent time celebrating with them. The couple was overjoyed by the personal touch, and our carers made sure their anniversary was a day to remember.
A Remarkable Recovery After Paralysis
One of our clients was left bedbound after complications from a routine knee surgery resulted in paralysis. Our care professionals were determined to help them regain mobility, working with them every day on physiotherapy exercises. When the physiotherapist visited, they were astounded by the client’s progress—far exceeding expectations. Thanks to the dedication of our carers, who visited four times a day, the client is now able to stand, walk to the bathroom, and even take a lap around the living room. This remarkable recovery highlights the power of consistent, compassionate care and our client’s determination to walk again.
