Meet Amber
Each care professional is unique, but the common shared value, is a sense of responsibility, commitment and drive. Amber, with her love of horses, is an excellent example of this.
This is what Amber says about her interests, in her own words:
“In my free time I love to go horse riding. Before working in care I did 5 years in the Horse Racing industry and worked for many successful trainers. I was involved
in all the big events with my personal highlight being leading up on Grand National day. I always grew up with horses as my grandparents owned a palomino stud in Martin Hussingtree. As I teenager I was a very eager Team Chaser and after a few years I joined one of the most recognised teams called Team Ride Away on my mums horse Bailey. We had many successful years and won the intermediate league in 2018. After a few major injuries from the horses I was forced to give it all up.
I then found another job I absolutely love, in care. I now own my own ex racer called Rocco. He’s only seven years old but has excellent potential. We are currently doing a few local shows competing in show jumping and dressage which he absolutely loves.”
